Thousands of Filipinos in Dubai gathered outside the Burj Khalifa last Wednesday, June 12, witnessed the world’s tallest building lit up in colors of the Philippine flag in celebration of the nation’s 121st Independence Day.
Filipinos like me living in the UAE for almost a decade was very excited and proud to have been paid tribute by one of the world best cities and as second home to me.
Dubai Festival Mall celebrated as well by showcased a laser show to pay tribute to all Kabayans here in UAE
Flashed on their big LED screen facing Dubai Mall were the images of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray and the Filipino Boxing Champion and a Senator Manny Pacquiao .
